UTV Race Shop · Rebrand & market positioning · Pflugerville, Texas · 2023–2026
Every part. Every win. Starts right here.
A Texas race shop with fifteen years in the parts business, live inventory, same-day shipping and a crew that races what it sells. And a logo that was an italic web address. The shop had the reputation. The brand wasn't saying it.
So we rebuilt it from the positioning up: who the shop is for, what it promises, how it sounds, and an identity that holds from a hat patch to a wrapped Can-Am Defender. The content came after. The brand came first.

01 · We thought it.
We started with the market, not the logo. Who buys performance parts online, who they trust, and what every other parts site sounds like. Plenty of catalogues, nobody owning a lane. So the positioning went where the shop already lived: race-proven parts, in stock, shipped fast, sold by people who run them on their own machines. One buyer, four pillars, and one line to carry it: Every Part. Every Win. Starts Right Here.
02 · We made it.
Then the identity. We audited the old mark first: gradients, a wing and a URL that fell apart in embroidery and said nothing about the shop. The new system is a patch-style logo family in Patriot Red, Asphalt White, Trackside Blue and Utility Black, set in Eurostile, with shields, stacks and a Pro Team mark that all read at an inch wide. Around it: three apparel capsules, packaging, an event kit, a brand voice guide, and a name and identity for the shop's own parts line, Shift Performance Labs.
03 · We launched it.
The line now opens utvraceshop.com. The logo is on the tees, the hats, the flags and the booth walls at the Sand Sports Super Show, and on a stars-and-stripes Can-Am Defender at King of the Hammers. Matt, the shop's in-house marketer, runs it day to day from a playbook instead of guesswork. And the content we keep shooting for them finally has a brand to carry.

Positioning · 01
The buyer.
Thirty to forty-four. Works all week, rides all weekend. Does the research, turns the wrenches, and buys from people who walk the walk. Usually more than one machine in the garage: the race car, the chase rig, the side-by-side that works the property.
Positioning · 02
The promise.
Four pillars, set in the first round of research in 2023 and still standing: quality and safety, a customer experience with no friction, a name people trust, and fast delivery. If a post, a product page or a booth doesn't serve one of them, it doesn't go out.
Positioning · 03
The voice.
Confident, not loud. Knowledgeable without the jargon. Proof over polish, and no hype words. One gut check before anything is published: would a real UTV owner say this?
The line
Every Part. Every Win. Starts Right Here.
One line that turns a parts supplier into a partner in performance. It opens the website, sits inside the collar of every shirt and runs across the bed of the shop's Defender.
The identity
Same shop.
A mark you can stitch.
The audit came first: five reasons the old logo was holding the shop back, from gradients that died in embroidery to a web address where a story should be. Then a system built to work at every size, on every surface. Click any frame to see it full size.
The capsules
Three capsules. One wardrobe for the pits.
Shop, Tonal and Factory Fast: the apparel that put the new identity on people before it went on anything else. Every piece carries the woven tag at the hem and the line inside the collar.
In the wild
Out of the deck. Onto the dirt.
King of the Hammers, the Sand Sports Super Show, the shop floor. A wrapped Defender, flags, booth walls, hats and stickers. This is where a rebrand holds up or it doesn't.
The content
And yes, we still shoot.
Race week at King of the Hammers, product capsules, social cuts for the shop's channels. The content keeps coming. Now it has a brand to carry.
